What are intensive driving courses?
An intensive driving course fits your lessons into a short block instead of spreading them over months. Glow driving School run 2, 10, 20 and 30-hour courses, usually two to four hours a day. Most learners finish in one to three weeks.
How does an intensive driving course work?
Intensive driving courses work by booking a block of lessons bundled with your theory test. We’ll take care of all the admin, arrange your theory test, and assign an expert instructor to guide you through your lessons. Unlike other intensive driving courses, Glow Driving School lets you choose how many hours you drive per day.
What are the different types of intensive course?
Intensive driving courses give you the opportunity to get your licence faster than if you were to take traditional hourly lessons.
There are a few different types of intensive course:
- Residential courses: A holiday bootcamp-style approach, where you stay ‘on location’ and drive for multipal hours each day. Typical length: 1-2 weeks.
- Local intensive courses: Daily instruction in your local area come to you and give you a lesson. Typical length: 1-2 weeks.
- Local semi-intensive courses: A flexible course that fits around your other commitments, but is still a quicker process than traditional lessons: Typical length: 1-2 months. 2 to 4 hours weekly.
For all intensive courses you’ll need:
- A valid provisional licence
- An in-date theory test certificate (some courses allow you to book a theory test as part of your package deal)
Is it easier to do a crash course?
It totally depends on how you learn fast. Some people struggle to take everything in in such a short space of time. Other people thrive from the pressure and forget a lot when they’re doing slower-paced lessons. It’s important to find the right balance and choose a course that works best for you.
How much is an intensive driving course?
Intensive driving course costs vary depending on how many hours of lessons you need, and Glow Driving school offer everything from 10 to 30-hours courses. The best thing about Glow Driving School intensive driving course prices is that you’ll pay one price for everything from your theory to your lessons. Book a Glow Driving School course and you won’t need to worry about paying for each lesson with cash.
