What you need to know about driving instructor training
Part 1: Theory and hazard perception
Pass these tests before moving to the next. It consists of 100 hazard perception videos, banding according towards the time taken.
Part 2: Driving skills assessment
An advanced practical driving test. You'll demonstrate your higher-level driving skills and achieve knowledge of The Highway Code and road procedure.
Part 3: ADI instructional ability
You have 3 test-to-real driving exam where responsibilities, driving periods and engagement, and fostering a learning mindset.
