Eligibility & Requirements
To take lessons with Glow Driving School, you must hold a valid provisional or full driving licence, meet the legal eyesight requirement, and be in a fit condition to drive. Pupils are expected to bring their licence to the first lesson and inform the instructor of any changes to their health or circumstances that may affect driving.
Payments & Pricing
All lessons must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed with your instructor. While our prices may change, any pre-paid lessons will be honoured at the original rate. Block bookings are non-refundable once lessons have started, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, at least 24 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed lessons, will be charged at the full rate. If your instructor must cancel due to illness, breakdown, or other unforeseen events, your lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Lesson & Vehicle Standards
All Glow Driving School vehicles are dual-controlled, fully insured, and regularly maintained to meet DVSA standards. Our instructors are fully DVSA-approved and trained to deliver safe, effective, and supportive driving tuition in both manual and automatic vehicles.
Driving Tests
While we can help arrange driving tests, we are not responsible for DVSA cancellations or scheduling issues. Pupils must confirm their instructor’s availability before booking a practical test to avoid conflicts.
Behaviour & Conduct
We expect all pupils to treat instructors and vehicles with respect. Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination of lessons without a refund.
Liability
Glow Driving School and its instructors will take all reasonable care to ensure safety during lessons but are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.
